A brand new secondary school is being built for Higham Lane North Academy, off Higham Lane at the new Milby Meadows neighbourhood at Top Farm in Weddington, and will accommodate 900 pupils when full.
The entire site including access roads, pavements and street lighting is on track for completion ahead of schedule, in June 2025. The new school will also be an important hub for local residents, providing out-of-hours community use of the extensive sports facilities with dedicated pupil and visitor-only entrances.
Our convenient location provides easy access from the new Northern Link Road that will link new housing developments in the north and east of Nuneaton, from the A5, and by bus. There will also be a dedicated walking/cycle lane along the new access route and a secure compound for bike storage.
The two-storey teaching building will include engineering, food and science labs, drama and dance studios, a music room and IT-rich classrooms. Ample opportunity for sports recreation and education is provided through an indoor sports hall, four outdoor hard courts and four multi-use pitches for year-round sports.
